"Dhulikhel Municipality has the vision to develop the city as a "Smart Sustainable City: A Center of Excellence for Health, Education, Tourism and Culture". We believe that health is the foundation of prosperity. So, health is one of the priority areas of our overall development. We are implementing various activities to improve the overall health status of our people to achieve health-related SDG targets before 2030. We are excited and eager to be a member of the South-East Asia Healthy Cities Network so that we can share our lessons with others and we can learn from other cities. As a Mayor of the city my board members are committed to supporting the Healthy City initiative for the development of our city as a Healthy City and our people's physical, mental, and social well-being is improved."
