RL-UGHW was honored to be hosted by the honorable Mayor Mr. Ashok Kumar Byanju during a field visit to Dhulikhel on 28 April 2023.
A member of the SEAR Healthy Cities Network, Dhulikhel has been exemplary in charting development to achieve SDG goals, and has made notable achievements in improvements the city’s social determinants health in areas such availability of drinkable water and presence of community hospitals.
Dhulikhel’s Mayor made salient the importance of political commitment, and the team at RL-UGHW looks forward to continued partnership with the city, as part of the SEAR Healthy Cities Network, to advance health and well-being for the population.
